The Tugboat Roundup is a three day gathering and celebration of tugboats and other vessels working on New York's historic waterways and beyond. This year marks the 20th anniversary (and the 20th) Tugboat Roundup.
Sunday’s Schedule:
All day: Boat rides (fee) vendors, live music, presentations, children’s activities and more.
8:30am Tug Chug Kids Run at Lock 2
9am 2019 Tugboat Chug 5k at Lock 2
10am to 3pm: Docked tugs open for tours
10am to 1pm: Mark Rust at TBR20 Live music and interactive entertainment
10am to 3pm Fire Safety Obstacle, Waterford Harbor Farmers Market, and Bouncy Slide at Lock 2
10am - 2pm: Face painting w/ Fancy Face Creations at Lock 2
11am Tug Talks, upstairs in the Hurst Harbor Center. Art Cohn, of the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum presents “Shipwreck Stories from Lake Champlain, the Hudson River and the Finger Lakes”
12:00pm Tugboat Nose to Nose Competition
12pm to 3pm Pony rides at Lock 2
12:30pm Tug Talks, upstairs in the Hurst Harbor Center, Ben Grudinskas, designer and builder of the Atlantic Hunter II presents, "The Mini Tugboats of the Waterford Tugboat Roundup and the World ”
